Project: San Pasqual Valley Soils

Project Summary

This website redesign involved a complete makeover with a new WordPress theme, color scheme and layout update. The page templates and colors were updated for a brighter, modern, “green” look. New pages were created with new content and existing content was updated and expanded. The menu navigation was reworked and streamlined to improve usability.

Website Design and Content Development

SPVS originally asked me to add a page to their website with pictures and descriptions of their products. This involved taking and editing pictures, developing descriptions, and layout using HTML and CSS for responsive design. A lightbox feature was added to enlarge the product pictures.

A “Request a Quote” page with a customized form was added so SPVS customers could order products and ask questions during off hours. A marketing plan was implemented to integrate and optimize their social media presence.

A Carousel Image Slider was added to the Home page to highlight products and specials. Additional pages were added for retail stores, our team, green waste recycling, resources, testimonials, and customer feedback. Links and hyperlinks were added for enhanced functionality and interest. The website makeover also included search engine optimization.

Finally, I continue to collaborate with SPVS to create a blog and publish regular posts to the website, Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business to help expand their marketing presence.

Customer Summary

San Pasqual Valley Soils provides a variety of premium landscape products for farms and gardens in the San Diego area. They also accept landscape trimmings for processing at their composting facility.
